Set in the beautiful confines of the Peak District, Y Not Festival is a weekend of music, partying and fun at Pikehall. Now in its ninth year, the festival has retained its friendliness and carefree attitude of the early years, attracting a dedicated base of music loving revellers alongside some of the hottest acts to grace the UK circuit in the near-decade it has been in operation.
Acts are hand-picked by the festival’s dedicated organisation team to ensure that the line-up cuts through the hype to pick only the best bands to suit the festival. Following on from the likes of Feeder, The Wombats and Dizzee Rascal in previous years, Y-Not 2015 seems set to be the biggest (and most diverse) yet.
With American Hip-hop icon Snoop Dog, Scottish rockers Primal Scream and Electro-dance mavericks Basement Jaxx all set to headline and bring the party to the heart of Derbyshire, amongst a huge miscellany of other acts, it’s safe to say that the only direction Y-Not can go is up.
