Kendal Calling was born from a group of music lovers who felt the fabulous fields of the Lake District could be put to better use. When summer came, it was time to take to the fields for a shindig that would grow so big the whole country would hear it calling!
Now celebrating its 10th year, Kendal Calling will be welcoming back some familiar faces as well as a bunch of new acts that are making waves on the festival circuit. British Sea Power will be stomping on familiar territory when they return to the festival, but this time they will be bringing their visually stunning live show to the Woodlands as the Friday night headliners.
International superstars such as Kaiser Chiefs and Snoop Dogg will be joined on the bill by Cumbrian acts Chadelic and Seven Seals who are sure to set the tone for an incredible festival atmosphere with their local following. Colt 45 and Kontiki Suite are set for afternoon slots while Molly Warburton also returns to the festival after her opening slot on the main stage last year.
