Fuji Rock Festival Line Up Updated

One week after the announcement of Arcade Fire being added to this summers line up comes the announcement of what we've all been waiting for, performing dates!

Always ranking as a band everybody wants to see at Fuji Rock, the Flaming Lips have been confirmed to perform at this summers festival! It goes without saying that we can't wait to see what kind of performance this fantastic, crazy and distinctive band will bring us. A total of fourteen bands have been added to the line up!

Our beloved Franz Ferdinand will headline on Friday July 25th, a day that also features Basement Jaxx, Foster The People, Garland Jeffreys, Hunter Hayes, James Iha, Motoharu Sano and Yukihiro Takahashi. New to the line up are six acts including Japan's top psychedelic jam band and festival leader Dachambo, hailing from Sweden comes the girl folk duo First Aid Kit, and Yoshihide Otomo made famous for his music on TV dramas "Ama-chan" and "Tonbi".

Saturday July 16th brings us Arcade Fire, Damon Albarn, the Manic Street Preachers, The Lumineers, Man With A Mission, Travis, Ulfuls and Yoko Ono in addition to traditional Khoomei throat singing unit Huun Huur Tu, self professed Fuji Rocker Tokiko Kato and leader of next generation Japanese rock: Sim...

With Jack Johnson headlining, it looks like a peacful Sunday July 27th is in store with The Flaming Lips, Outkast, Begin, John Butler Trio, Road, Strypes, and Tokyo Skapara Orchestra in addition to Australian prodigy: Chet Faker, Yuzo Kayama's The King Allstars, and funk loving 8 piece band Osaka Monorail, and voted in from last summer's Rookie A Go-Go is The Autopsy Report of The Drowned Shrimp.
