Tomorrowland- Alesso – Armin Van Buuren – Avicii - 24- 26 July

Schommelei, Boom, Belgium

If you don’t already know, Tomorrowland is a festival with a vision. A dream about euphoria and unity, brought vividly to life for all those who attend.

Tomorrowland sings its song of elation through the sounds produced by the vast array of artists it brings to its stages, each of whom play some of the most pumping, pounding, sweet and soaring dance music that can be encountered possibly anywhere on this planet.  Awash in a staggeringly intoxicating kaleidoscope of bright, beaming colours, this European festival is also a display of visual splendour for wide- eyed explorers embarking to this fascinating event.

It all began 10 years ago, and today it thrives with a full- on surge of positive, life- affirming energy that flows through the gathered music- minded masses and fills their senses with a freedom that they crave in today’s society.  It translates into this, a most colourful festival with its own community that abounds with an affirmation whose festival- length brevity is no less a reason for it to be a template for today and for tomorrow.  A tomorrow whose birthplace is, of course, right here.  Tomorrowland.

A key part of this experience, and a great answer to the question of where to stay, is the appropriately named DreamVille.  Offering you a place to camp, DreamVille is also the place where you can discover other features to enhance your visit, including a fresh bakery, a tea house and a marketplace.

Way Out West - Beck – atl-J – Belle & Sebastian13 – 15 August - Slottsskogen Park , Gothenburg, Sweden

Tickets: 1940.00 SEK

This three day music extravaganza in Gothenburg, Sweden pays homage to the biggest names in rock, electronic and hip-hop.  Way Out West takes place in the 137 hectare Slottsskogen Park in central Gothenburg.  These floral surroundings reflect the ethos of the festival as a whole, which emphasises environmental sustainability and was the first festival in Sweden to become KRAV-certified.

Way Out West is a multi-award winning festival and is proud to hold the Most Innovative Festival from the MTV O Music Awards.  It is not, however, just a music festival, but is rather a cultural celebration, including art exhibitions in Slottsskogen and film showings across the city.

This is the perfect event for any self-confessed music addict, as Way Out West isn’t dedicated to just one genre; festival goers can expect to encounter rock and alternative rock, indie, electro and hip-hop.  In a nod to its roots, the main festival is complimented with the cub concept ‘Stay Out West’, which features exclusive afterhours gigs at numerous venues around the city, meaning you can party all night and day.  This year’s line-up includes the Pet Shop Boys, Beck, Patti Smith, Kygo, Ellie Goulding, The Machine and Years & Years.  For those looking to keep the party alive after the headline acts, Stay Out West is a series of club venues across the city with after-hours gigs that explodes after the main festival ends.

As well as excellent music, Way Out West is also dedicated to preserving the environment.  Environmentally certified, festival goers can expect gorgeously maintained parkland, organic and locally sustained catering and recycling bins at every turn.  With an intimate, relaxed atmosphere, it won’t be long before Way Out West is considered the best European festival.
