Intensive Chinese Program
The Intensive Chinese Program can be taken in Beijing or Shanghai, the choice is yours! The all-inclusive package means that you will be guided by a Program Consultant from the moment you apply. Your program will include:
• 20 hours of group Chinese classes per week (average of four-five students per class).
• Accommodation in a shared apartment (with your own bedroom & all utilities included plus Wi-Fi).
• Organisation of cultural activities two-three times per week (e.g. tea ceremonies, tai chi lessons, kung fu shows, trips to the Great Wall, excursions in and around the city…).
• Practical assistance (including airport pickup, visa assistance, 24/7 support).
• Six months subscription to Skritter (the best online app to study Chinese characters).
• City Orientation & welcome pack (with goodies such as T-shirt, bag, map, transport card and SIM card with credit).
Their schools are located in the centre of the city: the Central Business District area of Beijing, or the Former French Concession of Shanghai.
Teaching is focused on small group classes to ensure you get the most of your study abroad experience in China! Internship Program
With three exciting cities to choose from: Beijing, Chengdu or Shanghai, you will get an opportunity of a lifetime when you join the Internship Program. Working as a volunteer is not easy - especially in a country you do not know well and of which you don't speak the language. Hutong School's Volunteer Program offers an all-inclusive package that will enable you to fulfil your Chinese volunteering dream, stress-free.
Combine your work at an NGO with learning Chinese, while participating in NGO-focused cultural activities during your program. The Volunteer Program at Hutong School offers students the opportunity to work in associations involved in environmental protection or corporate social responsibility, and help local communities who really need your help.
