The USA has the largest economy in the world, offering job security and career progression for recent graduates. It is also the world leader in product development and designing new technologies and, with such a diverse selection of cities and businesses, there’s sure to be something for you.

Adobe Systems

Forbes ranked Adobe as America’s best employer for new graduates in 2018, and it’s easy to see why. Abode has a vast internship scheme which recruits students and recent graduates from a broad range of backgrounds and colleges to ensure that their workforce reflects their customer base and their communities. This New York-based airline operates around 1,000 flights per day to more than 100 destinations across the Americas. Their JetBlue Emerging Talent Programme (JET) provides students and recent graduates with opportunities for professional development through participation in real-world business solutions and initiatives. Options include the JET Summer Internship (a 10-week programme), the JET internship (up to 12 months) and the JET Graduate Rotational programme, which lasts two years. During the rotational course, recent graduates will spend three to six months experiencing work in different areas of the airline, including airport operations, finance and marketing. JetBlue’s employees get other perks, including free standby flights on JetBlue flights and reduced standby flights with affiliate airlines, as well as health and wealth benefits.

Stryker Corporation

Stryker is a medical technologies firm based in Michigan that manufactures products for doctors, hospitals and healthcare centres in over 100 countries. Stryker places great emphasis on their graduate schemes and are flexible for their employees changing departments and locations, providing solid foundations for a full career. The company’s internship programmes allows students to explore the different areas of their business, from manufacturing to marketing. Like JetBlue, Styker offer rotational schemes for recent graduates to let them discover the business and find their feet where they’re most comfortable. Their Early Career Talent scheme offers full-time opportunities to people who have completed an undergraduate degree or a master of business administration degree in the past two years, or who will be graduating within the current year. At General Motors, your recently-acquired university knowledge will be put to good use to provide insights and inventive solutions to help the company negotiate real-world problems.
