Net Languages has announced that it will launch a new version of its 8-level General English online course on 2nd January 2019. In collaboration with the speech recognition service provider Carnegie Speech, Net Languages has incorporated a wide variety of speech recognition exercises into the online course material. Using the latest technology, students will now have:

1. more opportunities to work on their pronunciation

2. more opportunities to practise their speaking

3. access to a more interactive course with a wider variety of exercise types

4. increased motivation, engagement and enjoyment of the course

The new course importantly works on all current iOS and Android tablets as well as Windows and Mac computers. And according to the feedback from the pilot projects, it looks set to deliver a positive, enjoyable and pedagogically strong learner experience.

Fiona Thomas COO of Net Languages comments: "when we look back at our beginnings in 1998 it's truly amazing to see how far we have come and what we are now able to do to provide a really effective, efficient and rewarding online language learning experience".

"Net Languages delivers high quality online English language courses, and we are very happy to be able to support their exciting new product release with our patented pinpointed speech recognition technology that helps learners improve their spoken English," said Angela Kennedy, CEO of Carnegie Speech.
