Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park will play host to Summer Sessions this year, one of Scotland’s most popular music festivals. Headline acts will not disappoint, as Paolo Nutini, Scotland’s most famous soul rock singer of late will be spilling his heart out on Saturday to 35,000 festival goers, with hits from his most recent album Caustic Love as well as moving singles such as Rewind.
Calvin Harris, the UKs most successful DJ and producer in recent times will be headlining on Sunday, with a dynamite set and explosive visuals. Calvin Harris has achieved near prophet like status in the dance and electronica spheres as the only artist to have 3 singles in the UK top 10 at the same time so an explosive set is guaranteed. Ellie Goulding will perform after the acclaimed DJ, performing current smash hit Love Me Like You amongst others. Other Highlights include John Newman, showcasing the northern soul that sold 1.3 million records in the UK alone last year and reggae group The Disciples.
