These staggering rivers of ice are all that remains of the once expansive North American ice sheets that used to cover the entire northern and alpine regions of North America.

In the summer there are activities such as river rafting and rock climbing - you are free to hike and bike your way through these sensational canyons to your hearts content. When the ice descends, the activities don’t dry up either, of course there are a plethora of skiing and snowboarding opportunities as well other great activities like dog sled tours, snowmobile tours, ice walks, ice climbing and ice fishing amongst other exciting activities!
