Volunteer at South Africa Lion Park

Posted: 20th January 2016 08:42

South Africa Lion Park gives international volunteers the life changing opportunity to interact with the world’s most impressive animals up close.  Volunteers will spend their time feeding and caring for lion and cheetah cubs, exploring South Africa on excursions organised by the park, and seeing wildlife in its natural habitat on game drives.  You will also help with introducing local school groups to the animals – enlightening and inspiring a next generation of people to respect and care for these powerful animals is a core principal of South Africa Lion Park.

During the time you spend at South Africa Lion Park you will form lifelong friendships with the other volunteers, experience real African culture and discover a different side to life.  The memories you make will stay with you for ever; enjoying a traditional South African braai (BBQ) accompanied by the sounds of roaring lions, sampling more exotic fare in an authentic African restaurant, or simply looking out over sun scorched plains roamed by zebra, gemsbok and ostrich.  Most importantly, you will leave with a new appreciation for the beauty of nature.
